Junior American Citizens

Chapters are encouraged to “adopt” a class or school to help children understand their privileges and responsibility as citizens.  The JAC program is open to all students in public, private, parochial, and sanctioned home schools in grades pre-school through 12. Participation is not limited to students in a classroom; youth groups such as scout troops, C.A.R. societies, and service organizations may also participate in the contests. The art contest includes four categories: poster, banner, stamp, and photographic essay. The creative expression contest includes two categories: poetry and short story.
