Knitting Project

Calling All Knitters!!

The CJW-KM Knitting Project helps to put handmade lap robes into the hands of our veterans.  If you would like to make a lap robe to donate to this project, there are several ways to contribute. If you’re a knitter, the pattern is worked on Size 10 needles.  Cast on 42 stitches and knit all rows. Washable acrylic yarn is recommended.  Each blanket will consist of 9 squares measuring 12” x 12” that will be joined together.  If you crochet or quilt, we happily accept blankets of those varieties (like the one pictured above) as well.

Contact the knitting project chairman, Amy Schultz, for more information or to get involved.
